An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Manufacturing MRP Controller to work as part of the Central Data Team. The individual will support the wider planning & control team in the delivery of development and production contacts. There will also be the opportunity to be part of the transition to SAP4HANA.
Salary: Circa £40,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 3/4 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship

The opportunity:
An opportunity has arisen for a MRP Controller to work in the Central Data Team, with a strong focus on MRP planning. Reviewing and ensuring accuracy of planning data held within the MRP system, providing support to Manufacturing on MRP data/reporting and being the MRP controller for planning activities that fall centrally.
The CDT will also provide key support to the implementation of SAP4HANA so experience of data migration and SAP4HANA implementation would be beneficial. The role would be ideal for an individual who is experienced in the use of ERP systems and would enjoy sharing their knowledge and experience to influence and develop best practice.
* Co-ordination of activities related to the planning and procurement of materials. Ensuring consistent demand flow into the business units to support adequate supply of materials so manufacturing can output the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
* Ensure efficient and effective signals in the MRP system, providing a strong link between the programmes and business units, with a focus on problem identification and resolution.
* Work closely with ISP to facilitate the setup of the supply chain and master data at DD1, DD2 and into DD3 production.
* Facilitate the accuracy of manufacturing bill of materials and manufacturing strategy by ensuring master data is topical.
* Support of product Lifecycle gate, PLC2 closure reviewing SND, aged WIP and reqs in the past with a focus on issue resolution to support Data cleanse.
* Coordinate and evaluate SAP queries from the MP&C team and Programmes, communicate resolutions to queries and develop proposals for process improvements.
* Support the development of new policies and processes for Manufacturing planning and control.
* Use of SAP to extract, understand and interpret data and communicate cause and effects based on actions/decisions taken, with a strong focus on root cause and corrective actions.
* Control and governance of planning related data ensuring accuracy of the MRP system.
* Supporting manufacturing programmes understanding of MP&C process, focusing on a strong 2-way relationship.
* Become the key contact for planning related tasks that will be managed centrally.
* Facilitate and action System data cleanse.
* Management of Planned Independent Requirements.
What we're looking for from you:
* Relevant experience in Manufacturing planning, Supply chain management or a related position.
* Experience in the use of ERP essential.
* Experience of SAP beneficial (ECC or S4 HANA).
* Good planning and organising skills.
* Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Attention to detail.
