Department Wholesale Reporting to Head of Business Development Location Head Office/London Hours Full time JOB PURPOSE We are looking for an exceptional Senior Wholesale Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will develop and maintain relationships with partners and implement a global strategy across key markets. Anya Hindmarch creates four collections a year and specific capsules destined for the Village and key strategic partners. Categories include handbags and accessories, dog, home, lifestyle, the cult Labelled collection and food. There is huge scope for additional sales opportunities due to these new lifestyle areas and the new cadence of our design process. Today, it is as known for its luxury, organisation-obsessed accessories as it is for its ground-breaking work in sustainability and its playful experiential retail concepts. This is a community of neighbouring stores and a cafe. Ever evolving, it centres around the Village Hall, which hosts innovative concepts, collaborations and exhibitions, all of which are amplified digitally. These include a fruit and veg store, a hairdresser, a Christmas Grotto, a dry off licence, A. Houndmarch dog butchers and a garden centre. Key Responsibilities Responsibility for the implementation of the wholesale brand strategy and ensuring the development of wholesale partnerships, profitability, and brand awareness through strong launch activations Collaborate with Marketing, Press and Social to establish key account communication plans to drive sell through, brand awareness, and to secure special collaborations with key strategic partners Assist in executing all digital and in-store partner activations in line with the company strategy Develop business in the market by researching potential partners that offer the right brand adjacencies Day-to-day management of partners - from department stores to independent retailers and online Support on strategy for and management of the global roll out of the Labelled Project Develop and manage internal and external reporting to maximise team performance, and to provide data and insights to the management Analyse sell-throughs on a weekly base to promptly offer reorders from stock and report on this weekly Work with the team on preparation ahead of market – prospecting and forecasting During market work with partners to conduct appointments, ensure a good OTB, the correct product mix per partner, exclusives and timely order confirmations Drive business throughout the season to achieve strong sell throughs via ongoing communication with partners, training, sales incentives, marketing activations, stock swaps, reorders etc. Collaborate with the production, merchandising, finance and logistic teams to ensuretimely deliveries Personal qualities & qualifications Minimum 5 years’ experience in wholesale RTW, accessories or lifestyle Educated to degree level(desirable) Excellent knowledge of and contacts in the luxury fashion and key accountsworldwide Proven track record of proactively gaining and retaining new clients Outstanding organisational skills and abilityto prioritise to meet deadlines A team player, able to multitask and work in a dynamic and reactive environment Strong analytical skills Sales-oriented with excellent negotiation skills Computer literatein Microsoft Office,particularly Excel SAP and JOOR systems knowledge are desirable Willing to travel Fluent spoken and written English. Additional languages would be an advantage – especially Italian.
