Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Health Records team in Velindre as a transcriptionist. The post holder is one of a team providing an essential efficient and effective Health Records service. They will work within a team of and responsibilities will include audio typing, scanning and updating routine clinical information on Welsh Clinical Portal. Excellent audio transcription skills are essential.
The work is active and varied and requires a flexible approach.
Main duties of the job
Liaise closely with the medical secretaries, secretarial assistants and clinic coordinators.
Ensure routine typing is completed in date order unless otherwise instructed by the Medical Secretarial Manager/Health Records Manager.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
