Job Summary: The Business Unit Manager - Hard Services will play a dual role as an entrepreneurial leader and Business Development (BD) Manager. This position will be responsible for driving the growth of our hard services portfolio by identifying new opportunities, securing projects, and managing the operational delivery of services to ensure client satisfaction and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Entrepreneurial Leadership:
o Develop and execute a strategic plan for the hard services unit to achieve business growth and profitability.
o Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
* Business Development:
o Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the hard services sector, including client acquisition and partnership development.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry networks to enhance market presence.
* Operational Management:
o Oversee the delivery of hard services, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
o Implement operational best practices to enhance service efficiency and effectiveness.
* Financial Oversight:
o Develop and manage budgets for the hard services unit, ensuring financial objectives are met.
o Monitor financial performance and implement strategies for cost optimization and revenue growth.
* Client Relationship Management:
o Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring high levels of service delivery.
o Gather feedback from clients to identify opportunities for service enhancement and client retention.
* Team Development:
o Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team focused on hard services delivery.
o Foster a collaborative and motivated work environment that encourages professional growth.
* Market Analysis:
o Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in hard services.
o Utilize market insights to inform strategic decisions and drive business development efforts.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Business Development role in an Engineering/Facility Management set-up.
* Proven experience in managing hard services and a track record in business development within the facility management industry.
* Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial management.
* Ability to lead teams effectively and drive results in a dynamic environment.
* Indigenes of Cote d'Ivoire will be favorably considered.
