Are you a Freight Planner looking to join a pioneering healthcare logistics company? We're currently seeking a Freight Planner for
our Bedford site.
You'll be working Monday to Friday and paid £26,000 d.o.e.

Main Purpose of Job
• Accurately and efficiently process Client orders using TPI Freight
Management System (MyTPI).
• Respond to Client quotation requests through MyTPI in accordance with
published tariffs and commercial guidance from Team Leaders.
• Work closely with Status Control to ensure orders are tracked and updated
accurately in MyTPI.
• Attend Client / Carrier meetings when required to support Planning Team
Leaders.
• Prioritise workload to ensure transport consignments meet required deadlines.
• Monitor carrier performance and ensure SLA compliance.
• Ensure profitability while maintaining maximum service levels.
• Record any deviations through the companies DIR/CAPA and non-
conformance procedures.
• Ensure all files are processed accurately and charges authorized in a timely
manner so as not to delay TPI Accounts process.
• Support Accounts / Finance teams with financial discrepancies when requested.
• Compile monthly KPI data.
• Authorise costs and revenue following completion of transport orders.
• Ensure compliance when transporting temperature controlled, ADR and CD
• consignments.
• Adhere to Work Instructions and Standard Operating Processes.
• Build strong relationships with Clients and Suppliers.
• Work independently and as part of a team to achieve successful results.
• Overcome challenges in a pro-active way.
• Any other reasonable additional tasks necessary to fulfil your role.
Qualifications / Experience /Knowledge / skills required for the job
• Able to work within a team and individually and to strict dealines
• Ability to influence and communicate at all levels
• Excellent organisational skills
• High attention to detail
• Competent in the use of Microsoft packages and Freight Software
• Ability to follow and provide clear instructions
