What the Job Involves This role involves assessing and managing various planning and associated applications, including conducting site visits and preparing detailed reports and recommendations. You will handle planning appeals, provide pre-application advice, and effectively communicate with agents, applicants, the public, and local organizations. Additionally, you will negotiate planning agreements, respond to planning-related correspondence, and serve as a duty planning officer on a rotational basis. This position also requires attendance at planning committees, informal hearings, and public inquiries as needed.
