Overview
Our client, a leading multinational technology conglomerate, is seeking a talented and experienced Procurement Specialist to join their Culinary Operations team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in supporting the company's procurement operations and contributing to the success of their culinary initiatives.
Role Description
As the Procurement Specialist (Culinary Operations), you will be responsible for managing new product requests, coordinating sampling sessions for the culinary team, and overseeing the procurement of cafe smallwares and equipment. Additionally, you will prepare category reviews, analysis reports, and market reports, as well as coordinate purchasing vendor QBR feedback. You will also provide training and support to CafePro users, implement and maintain sustainable procurement practices, and actively track savings and cost mitigation.
This is a hybrid role, requiring onsite presence 3 days per week in their King's Cross offices.
You will need:
* 5+ years of experience in a similar procurement role, preferably in a food service or technology company
* Excellent communication skills and experience dealing with cross-functional partners
* Highly analytical and strategic thinking abilities
* Proficiency in G Suite
Nice to Have Skills
* Procurement qualification such as CIPS
* Experience in sourcing, negotiating, and managing cafe suppliers
* Subject matter expertise in CafePro and buy@ systems
