Functional Assessor (Registered Nurse) PIP
Location: Newcastle
Salary: £37,800 - £39,500 per annum
Job Type: Permanent / Mon-Fri 9-5 pm

Job Overview
We are looking for registered adult or mental health nurses who enjoy making a difference in people's lives every day. You will carry out assessments to understand how a person’s disability or health condition affects their daily life and produce factual reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits.
What we look for:
1. An NMC-registered adult or mental health nurse with at least 1 year’s broad post-registration experience in the UK
2. A proactive and keen learner with excellent oral and written communication skills
3. Someone comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports
4. An expert clinician comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including complex cases and mental health conditions
