An opportunity has emerged for a Senior Electrical Project Engineer seeking to advance their skills and career in Electrical Engineering. This role offers the chance to collaborate with Electrical Engineers and commercial developers on HV/LV and process control equipment and projects within a rapidly expanding sector of the business.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * Design and engineer electrical systems for various applications, including grid-scale installations, commercial and industrial facilities, and energy projects.\n\n * Perform feasibility studies, technical evaluations, provide independent expert advice, and offer technical oversight throughout project delivery.\n\n * Perform system modelling, simulation, and optimization to maximize the performance and efficiency of energy generation & storage systems.\n\n * Develop and implement control strategies for systems, ensuring safety and reliability.\n\n * Support project development activities, including site visits, data analysis, and preparation of technical reports and proposals\n\n * Conduct testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting to both project and operational teams as required.\n\n * Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as utilities, regulatory bodies, and technology suppliers, to facilitate successful project execution and maintain industry relationships.\n\nSkills & Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor's or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.\n\n * Professional engineering certification or chartered engineer status.\n\n * Proven experience in engineering, and implementation of power generation solutions.\n\n * Familiarity with process control and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.\n\n * Solid understanding of grid integration requirements, power system dynamics, and relevant industry standards (e.g. IEC, ENA, BS7671).\n\n * Proficiency in system modelling and simulation software, such as MATLAB, AutoCAD, or equivalent.\n\nRole Detials:\n\n * Based remotely (at home) with UK project-based assignment work as required\n\n * Frequent periods of travel for project and site work\n\n * Occasional overseas travel for meetings, site visits and project work\n\n * Willingness and ability to travel to and work from site facilities and offices across the UK
