Growth Coordinator needed to join us, on a permanent basis, at VML Enterprise Solutions.
The opportunity:
As a Growth Coordinator at VML Enterprise Solutions you will work with the Growth and Marketing teams in providing support across multiple functions, but a key focus on sales. This is an opportunity for someone either starting out or early on in their career who is keen to enter the exciting world of commerce, technology, and growth, rapidly proving yourself with your direct team and the C-suite, and in time progressing within a dynamic, fast-growing company. Preferably, they will have prior interest or experience in technology and commerce.
What you’ll be doing:
Growth
1. Manage and support pitch teams to prepare pitch submission documents and presentations, adhering to competing deadlines.
2. Coordinate the production of accurate RFI/P responses to ensure the brief instructions are followed.
3. Source information from across the business and group, proof-read and collate in PPT, Excel or Word format.
4. Coordination and administration ownership for each response: Schedule kick off / catch up / review meetings, monitor progress, organise and stay on top of team to ensure deadlines are met.
5. Compile base decks / introductory PPT decks (that are industry & capability specific) to a good design standard.
6. Brief and manage designers in the production of PPT decks.
7. Support Marketing in the creation of new pitch collateral and credentials.
8. Learn how VML’s partnerships operate to achieve growth.
Reporting & internal communications
1. Accurately update in-house Salesforce database.
2. Generate reports for Executives and departments across VML (e.g. Resourcing, Finance) and wider VML group.
3. Run and participate in weekly internal global update calls.
4. Create and manage pre-sales codes and reporting.
5. Assist with growth resourcing requests e.g. raise tickets on Open Air.
6. Build relationships with partners and other departments (Partner Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, Business Services, Consultancy, Partnerships etc.) and wider VML/WPP group to help grow the pipeline and ensure the current pipeline is up to date, and assist on inter-agency pitches.
7. Coordinate monthly growth newsletters, to update relevant internal teams on current RFP responses and recent growth material.
Support
1. Respond quickly to internal ad hoc requests.
2. Support the business development team on calls and in meetings and following up on agreed actions.
3. Arrange calls and meetings, both internal and with growth prospects.
4. Manage growth team diaries and meeting room bookings.
5. Provide other ad hoc support for business development team and wider business (including company stakeholders).
6. Make travel arrangements, arrange team get-togethers, and assist with concierge matters, e.g. taxis & restaurant bookings.
7. Carry out background research on prospects, including credit checks and wider research.
8. Manage other projects alongside day-to-day role when required.
9. Gain and maintain industry and competitor knowledge.
Growth process improvements & optimisation
1. Continuous improvement of the current RFP proposal response process, to ensure it is as streamlined, coherent and efficient as possible.
2. Identify any gaps within the process and implement new processes to address these.
3. Consistently following a similar framework and structure across all responses to ensure the team are on the right track.
4. Manage and organise the sales repository (case studies, creds, partner slides, certification stats etc.) on SharePoint drives and ensure this is kept as up to date as possible with a clear and simple structure.
5. Communicate any new process changes to relevant stakeholders.
Events
1. Provide support at industry conferences/sales & marketing events – manage the team’s attendance, liaise with event organisers to agree package, cost, itineraries etc.
2. Organise corporate hospitality/team events for growth and clients.
3. Create briefing documents, manage invites and assist with post-event follow up.
4. Manage and run a large-scale event annually.
