Resource Coordinator

Salary: £29,000 - £34,000 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week

The Role
In this role, you'll support their social care services to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality care delivery. You'll be responsible for scheduling and coordinating colleague working hours, managing resources, and making sure they stay fully compliant with regulations and policies. Your work will help us maintain the highest standards across all services.
* Create and manage colleague rotas, ensuring adequate shift cover and compliance with Ofsted, CQC (care quality commissions), and contractual requirements.
* Adjust rotas as needed for colleague availability, resident needs, and absences, coordinating alternative skilled colleague.
* Support recruitment by ensuring candidates meet skills and training requirements, and manage Bank colleagues and agency resources.
* Act as the primary point of contact for shift allocation, rota changes, and colleague inquiries, while maintaining accurate attendance records.
* Oversee colleague data for compliance, training, and performance, and prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential:
* Strong organisational and administrative skills.
* Experience in rotating, scheduling, or coordination roles, ideally in healthcare or social care.
* Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to plan ahead, set targets, and respond to changing needs.
* Strong interpersonal skills, building effective relationships across teams.
* Detail-oriented, with a methodical approach to managing multiple data sources.
* Problem-solving skills, making prompt and informed decisions.
* Resilience under pressure, confident in decision-making.
* Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required.
Other useful skills and experience:
* Working knowledge of legislation and regulations relevant to residential and domiciliary care of child and adult residential service.
