Based in three sites at Rodley, (LS13), Thornbury (BD3) and Horsforth (LS18) our sales have grown rapidly and we are now looking to expand our team of professional drivers. Days of work are Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays). Starting times can vary between 4am and 6am with some overnight stays included. This is a permanent vacancy. Applicants must have experience of driving nationwide. You will be required to drive a vehicle suited to your license and skillset, in a safe and responsible manner. The role includes: Delivering flat pack cabins by Hiab Delivering shed panels (handball) Shunting timber between depots Securing the load using straps and ratchets Some roping experience needed Daily vehicle checks Dealing with customers on a 1:1 basis for both home deliveries and trade Delivering goods in a helpful manner with safety being at the forefront of all decisions you make Completion of the required paperwork Meeting time slots agreed with the customer and notifying the appropriate people should delays occur Provide help for the loading team health and safety management of your vehicle What can we offer? 40 Hours per week Monday – Friday.
