We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced systemic practitioner to join our all age eating disorders service and also be supported to complete the Masters in Systemic Psychotherapy. The eating disorders service is joining together with the Greater Manchester Mental Health’s, masters level training in systemic psychotherapy to recruit to this unique opportunity.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Systemic Practitioner to join our All Age Eating Disorder Service (EDS). We are a specialist service with five locality teams covering the Lancashire and South Cumbria area. This post will be in the East Lancashire locality team based at Pendle House, Nelson. Some input in to the West team, based in Ormskirk may also be required. You should be an excellent communicator and team player. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver high quality systemic interventions to individuals with eating disorders and their families.
The successful candidate would start on a temporary contract, which would become permanent upon the completion of the masters course. Following completion of the course, they would then enter a preceptorship period, as a band 7 systemic family therapist and through a competency based approach, would work towards an 8a senior systemic family therapist role.
Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.
The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
