My client is a worldwide Prestigious Security Company are for a Production Team Leader to join them at their Leicester Electronics manufacturing base.
Location – LE19
Pay Rate – Up to £30,843
Team Leader to oversee our production operations. A successful candidate will be expected to enhance productivity, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and lead a team to achieve manufacturing excellence. We rely on our leaders to inspire and motivate their teams, while also maintaining a keen eye for operational efficiencies and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and lead a team of manufacturing personnel in a high-volume production environment
* Conducting regular team meetings to communicate targets
* Coordinate with other departments to meet production targets and maintain seamless operations
* Monitor production standards and quality control measures
* Ensure that team members follow defined manufacturing procedures and comply with quality requirements
* Handle conflict resolution and perform problem-solving as necessary
* Support the training new team members and ensuring that all team members are competent in their roles
* Implement and support continuous improvement strategies to enhance production efficiency and safety
* Ensure all manufacturing records are completed appropriately and accurately
* Ensure the escalation procedure for quality concerns are followed
* Enforcing strict safety guidelines and company standards
* Manage the operators attendance, employee related issues, 121s and performance reviews
* Identifying areas for improvement and initiating projects aimed at lowering costs and improving quality
Key competencies:
* Strong Understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment and quality systems
* Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
* Proficient in MS and any relevant manufacturing management software
* Strong Problem solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly

Skills and knowledge:
* Manufacturing background
* Previous experience of a People Leader in a manufacturing environment
* Knowledge of the GP MRP/ERP System or a similar system
