Quality Inspector - Aerospace Location: Alcester Shift Pattern: Late Shift - 39 hours per week Monday to Wednesday: 16:30 - 02:30, Thursday: 16:30 - 01:30The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join a leading aerospace manufacturer in Alcester, This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a background in precision inspection to contribute to a growing organisation. Key Responsibilities: Conduct 1st off, receipt, and in-process inspections using CMM and manual methods to ensure quality standards are met. Operate and maintain CMM programs, analyse results, and make informed quality decisions. Ensure non-conformance issues are correctly identified, recorded, and contained. Support New Product Introduction (NPI), working closely with Engineering to ensure seamless transitions. Complete FAIR packs using both CMM and manual inspection techniques. Follow and uphold company policies on health, safety, and environmental compliance. Maintain accurate records within the MRP system to ensure full traceability of work in progress. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and maintain work areas in accordance with 5S principles.About You: Proven experience in a quality inspection role within the aerospace or precision engineering sector. Skilled in CMM operation, manual inspection techniques, and FAIR completion. High attention to detail with a right-first-time mentality. Strong teamwork skills but also capable of working independently. A proactive, self-motivated individual with strong problem-solving abilities.
