Job Description 3D CAD Technician Location: Rushden Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 9:00AM – 5:30PM, early finish on a Friday at 4PM. Job Description: As a 3D CAD Technician, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our drawing capabilities within the Projects Department. You will support both the Sales and Project Teams in fulfilling drawing requirements in 2D and 3D formats, ensuring all outputs comply with industry standards. Your contributions will help establish our company as the preferred partner for our clients. Key Responsibilities: Manage CAD Files and Templates - Organise and maintain drawing folders and CAD block templates for easy access by Sales and Projects teams. Produce 3D and 2D Layouts - Create 3D and 2D layouts using CAD or Revit for pre-sales opportunities and post-sales projects, aligning with client and main contractor requirements. Develop Visualisations - Create visualisations compatible with virtual reality headsets or panoramic walkarounds for marketing events. Liaise with Stakeholders - Collaborate with architects, consultants, and constructors to ensure compliance with ISO19650/BS 1192 working standards. Coordinate with Italian Colleagues - Work with Italian office to uphold corporate design standards and relay market requirements, particularly regarding BIM standards. Maintain Revit Portfolio - Collect and organize relevant Revit files into portfolio folders for all product lines and architectural items, making them accessible to Product Specialists and Account Managers. Produce Marketing Materials - Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to create graphic materials promoting Tecniplast Group and its product offerings. Skills required: - Proficient in CAD and Revit software. - Strong understanding of 2D and 3D modeling principles. - Familiarity with ISO19650 and BS 1192 standards. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
