We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing difficulties, as well as developing individualised therapy plans to support each service user s needs and rehabilitation goals. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse caseload and make a real difference in the lives of individuals with complex neurological needs. This part-time role (two days per week) is perfect for those balancing other commitments, such as additional employment, training, or personal obligations. Ideally, the successful candidate will need to be on site on Tuesdays for our MDT meeting, and the remaining working hours can be discussed. What you'll be doing: Keeping people safe from any harm and protecting their human rights Providing assessment and management of communication and swallowing disorders Devise evidence-led therapy programmes at a specialist level, with an emphasis on multidisciplinary working to achieve the best outcomes for our patients Participate in service delivery audit and quality improvement initiatives Ensure all relevant codes of practice and regulations are upheld Participate in internal training (induction, mandatory training, MDT in-service) Develop your skills in clinical supervision and informal mentoring of Speech and Language Therapy Assistants and students Named Therapist duties to ensure cohesive goal setting and therapy and coordinating discharge Maintain high standards of clinical care in line with national guidance for excellence We provide induction, support, and ongoing professional development in line with the role, with great opportunities to broaden your skill base and develop your leadership skills.
