Exciting opportunities are available to join the Financial Operations team to primarily support AXA Health Plan as a Credit Control Analyst on a 12-month fixed term contract. You’ll be responsible for supporting Debt Recovery, General Ledger Reconciliation, and Reporting activities within Finance Operations, and serve as the subject matter expert for resolving complex queries for AXA Health.
You’ll be a highly motivated, numerate and delivery focused individual to drive forward key outputs including ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts. You’ll deliver an efficient query resolutions service, whilst nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing:
1. Work collaboratively with the Finance Operations team to actively chase overdue debt.
2. Monitor and support resolution of Trust Funding issues.
3. Contact group and individual customers and manage efficient query resolution for the business.
4. Co-ordinate and prepare data to support our future debt process, monthly debt reporting and analysis.
5. Assist with daily controls, ensuring resolution of reconciling differences and monitoring, team monthly quality and telephone checking review.
6. Prepare monthly debtors reconciliations, quarterly bad debt provisioning and Solvency II calculations.
7. Own process documentations, regularly review processes to increase efficiency and provide financial operations recovery support to business projects.
8. Support and deputise for the Financial Operations Team Leader and the Team Manager.
9. Provide guidance and support to the team.

This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
