Job Overview Ward Based Intervention Lead –THEO Project An exciting opportunity has arisen within QEHKL, JPUH, NCHC (working at one of these three sites) for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Band 7 Intervention Lead to join our 12-month intervention study aimed at introducing Therapeutic Optimisation (THEO) project using practice development approaches at ward level. Working as part of the clinical team, as an additional staffing member, the role will focus on approaches to enhance highly effective clinical interactions with colleagues, patients, their families and significant others. Main duties of the job THEO project aims to explore how a nurse led staffing uplift model and implementing practice development (PD) approach works to improve person centred care delivery across three sites. THEO project objective is to support and enable delivery of person-centred care, that is safe, effective and influences the ward environment to make it a great place to work (for staff), and be cared for (for patients, and their families/significant others). Each site will work with a THEO/ Practice Development Facilitator who brings knowledge, skills and expertise to support staff to achieve their agreed shared vision for improvements. Monthly workshops will be used to enable critical reflection, shared learning and gathering evidence to inform improvements. This evidence gathering will help academic collaborators further understand how THEO can be potentially expanded across other sites within our Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care System.
