Job summary Cheam Family Practice is seeking one additional Salaried General Practitioners for 4 to 6 sessions per week. We are a well-established, high-achieving practice providing care to 14,000 patients across two sites. We are looking for proactive and highly motivated individuals to become part of our friendly and supportive team. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to take an active role in the leadership and development of the practice. Areas of QOF will be allocated for review with discussion, and experience using EMIS is desirable. We look after several nursing homes, and this can become part of core work for the GP. Training and guidance will be provided as needed. Main duties of the job Providing high-quality primary care, including telephone, video, and face-to-face consultations. Managing long-term conditions effectively and with up to date guidance. Processing own referrals and blood results and patient prescription requests in an allocated session which allows flexible working for that session, which can be from home. Participating in the Duty Doctor system (1-2 days every 4 weeks). Contributing to continuous practice development and quality improvement initiatives. Attending and contributing to weekly clinical and practice meetings. Supporting partners in achieving strategic goals. Assisting in the training of GP registrars and medical students.
