Job Description:
We are looking for a Wrap Around Care Manager to join our friendly team. If you have relevant experience of working with children and an approved Level 3 qualification in childcare or equivalent, we would like to hear from you.
Hours: 15 hours per week, 3.30 - 6.30 pm Monday - Friday, term time
Started last year, our BAT club has become hugely popular and a firm favourite with children and their families. We are looking to develop this provision further to ensure an engaging and supportive wraparound service for all children, from Nursery up to Year 6. This is a great opportunity for someone to build and grow this resource and make it a selling-point of the school in the future.
Brooklands Primary School is a small, values-led school where all children and families are welcomed and celebrated. We build strong relationships within and beyond our local community, investing in our children’s futures by providing an enriched and creative curriculum, taking advantage of our unique locality and inspiring a life-long love of learning. Our commitment to our pupils and community, and to providing an ambitious and holistic curriculum was reflected in our recent OFSTED.
We are part of the Maritime Academy Trust, an innovative partnership of schools in Greenwich, Bexley, Kent and Medway.
Our school vision focuses on:
1. A holistic and individual approach to supporting every child from their starting point, focusing on both academic and personal development
2. Providing a broad and balanced curriculum, designed specifically to our context and children, encouraging them to be curious
3. Nurturing the whole child, celebrating success at all levels
4. Valuing our well-being and acknowledging the importance of caring for the self and others
5. Bringing learning to life with wider opportunities for all beyond the school day
6. Inviting our community to our Big Outcomes where we regularly share, showcase and celebrate our learning
7. Providing personalised, high-quality continued professional development for all our staff, ensuring their practice mirrors the latest research and good practice
In return we offer:
1. A positive, friendly and happy working environment
2. A fantastic school community all working towards achieving the best for our pupils
3. National terms and conditions
4. Tailored programmes of CPD with possible cross trust development opportunities
5. Early salary access scheme and financial advice
6. Comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme
7. Cycle to work scheme
Further details about the school and trust and a full job description can be found in the attached candidate Information pack.
