We are looking for production operatives to join our team at our South Quay Coated factory working a new continental shift pattern. As a Production Operative, you will support the safe manufacturing of goods, including but not limited to tasks such as feeding materials, packing into inner and outer cartons, box making, and palletising. These are 6-month fixed-term contracts, with the possibility of becoming permanent at the end of this period, subject to the availability of permanent vacancies. Payrate: £12.00 per hour Work Pattern: Continental Shift Pattern 12-hour shifts working - Week 1: Monday & Tuesday 6am-6pm days - Week 2: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday 6am - 6pm days The handling and preparation of fresh and frozen fish and ingredients. Line fee, decanting, weighing and mixing of ingredients. Polybag sealing, cartooning, lidding, collating and packing individual and catering packs. Stacking and palletising boxes and servicing the line with ingredients and packaging, in line with relevant SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) and Product Specifications. To ensure that all equipment is operating effectively and take corrective action where necessary. Ensure that you work and adhere to all quality, hygiene and safety requirements. To inform Advanced Operative of any issues which will prevent the production plan being achieved for the shift. Food Hygiene Level 2 is an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.
