Discuss and follow up with corresponding Country Controllers the implementation of actions plans to mitigate deficiencies identified in such evaluations. - Support Country Controllers and other Accounting staff to guarantee a proper application/adoption of Company´s Policies, Standards and Accounting Guidance. - Collaborate with the Country Controllers and/or Regional Accounting team on the preparation and delivery of any Accounting related Global request / information requirement. - Participate in the review of Accounting Processes, in order to look for improvement opportunities with positive impact on Productivity and Efficiency in Accounting. - Provide financial and accounting expertise and support for the regional business operations management teams. - Assist in the preparation and execution of financial policies and procedures. - If required, support Country Controllers on the preparation of information/documentation for Internal Control Evaluations and Internal/External Audits. - Contribute to decisions regarding financial strategy. - Maintain a good relationship and communicate frequently with Country Controllers & District Managers - Support the Regional Controller on the coordination of the Annual Budgeting process across the Region. - Proven and strong experience as a Regional Controller, Regional Accounting Manager, Finance Manager or Controller - Proven Accounting and Finance experience (preferably in the Global Logistics Industry) - Accounting Qualification - Desire local tax and regulatory knowledge - Good understanding of business as well as up to date knowledge of Accounting Rules & Regulations (preferably including US GAAP) - Proficient in MS Office, including PowerBI, Excel Formulas and Pivot Tables - Strong organizational and analytical skills with an attention to the details - Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to financial persons as well as non-financial persons at all levels from Operations to Senior Management to obtain positive results - Proven leadership attitude and skills - Ability to drive through change - Experience in compliance and internal controls. - Fluent in English This position may require occasional travel and is based in London. - 23 Days holiday - Private Medical Insurance - Dental and Optical cover - Employee Stock Purchase Plan - Training and Personnel Development Program - EAP All your information will be kept confidential according to GDPR guidelines.
