We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Merchandiser to lead our Merchandising team based at our Customer Support Centre in Walsall, UK. This role is a hybrid position requiring 3 days of on-site work per week.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Merchandising and be responsible for driving the team's performance to ensure optimal product placement and stock levels meet or exceed targets.
As a key member of our merchandising team, you will utilize your expertise to make informed decisions regarding product assortment, pricing strategies, and inventory management. Your primary goal will be to maximize sales and profitability while maintaining a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:
* Leverage market insights and trend analysis to inform product assortment and pricing decisions
* Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to minimize waste and excess stock
* Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including buying teams, supply chain partners, and cross-functional teams
* Analyse sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimize product offerings
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior merchandising or related role
* Proven track record of achieving sales growth and improving profit margins
* Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Salary:
£55,000 - £65,000 per annum depending on experience
