Your Role:
As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a vital part in supporting children’s growth, well-being, and learning through engaging and developmentally appropriate activities. Your key responsibilities will include:
Planning and implementing fun, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and development.
Creating a safe and secure environment, ensuring all health and safety guidelines are met.
Building strong relationships with children and their families, providing regular communication and support.
Observing and assessing children’s progress, preparing developmental reports to track milestones.
Working closely with colleagues to deliver an engaging and tailored curriculum that meets each child's needs.
Encouraging positive behaviour management and supporting children in developing key social skills.
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with all safeguarding and welfare regulations.
Taking part in staff meetings, training, and professional development to continuously enhance your childcare skills.
What We’re Looking For:
A recognized childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent).
Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting.
A strong understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
A team player with a proactive and caring approach.
Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding, health & safety, and best practices in early years education.
