To provide professional administration to support the Education and Practice Development team, including: Practice Placements Preceptorship Clinical Educators Trainee Nursing Associate and Nurse Degree Apprenticeships External apprenticeship placements Overseas nurses The post holder will also have responsibility to co-ordinate the allocation and rotation of practice experience and provide administration support for the Trainee Nursing Associate Team; Return to Practice Team; Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship Team and newly appointed overseas nurses. The postholder will also develop and maintain databases to record all of these activities. The postholder will also provide managerial support to the team administrators including any apprentices and administrative volunteer support workers. Main duties of the job The post holder will have an interest in education and developing others They will be able to communicate effectively and courteously with a range of internal / external stakeholders on a daily basis. This may include nursing staff and other Healthcare Professions of various disciplines, schools and colleges of higher education, students and members of the public. Work with and effectively communicate within the team structure. To provide a high-quality administrative service and ensure excellent customer care for the EPD Team and all associated stakeholders. Provide administrative support for the provision of all sessions and work streams. This includes Preceptorship, Practice Assessors and Supervisors Workshops, student placements, clinical skills sessions and recruitment processes associated with elective placements. Ensure that standards are maintained, office work is prioritised correctly and adhering to Trust policies and guidelines relating to the role.
