About Pikes Lane Primary:
Pikes Lane Primary is an oversubscribed 2 form entry primary school which was graded as “Requires Improvement” in some areas in January 2025. We are a wonderful, multi-cultural school which is truly at the heart of the Community.

The successful candidate will:
1. Have a clear moral compass centred on positive outcomes for pupils
2. Have a deep understanding and experience of the role of assessment in achieving these positive outcomes
3. Have excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
4. Have experience of successful leadership and management and leading change with staff
5. Have a proven track record of outstanding and inspirational teaching across at least 2 Key Stages
6. Have successfully used pupil data to improve outcomes for pupils and to drive forward school improvement
7. Demonstrate a clear vision for raising standards through coaching and mentoring staff
Key areas of responsibility within this post initially include:
1. Developing and embedding assessment practices from EY-KS2
2. Operational Leadership within KS2
3. Standards in teaching and learning within KS2
