GSL Educationare currently seeking to appoint a qualified and enthusiastic support worker to undertake a position at one of our client schools inLincoln. Job Summary: A Support Worker plays a crucial role in supporting individuals who live in residential care settings. These individuals may include those with disabilities, mental health issues, or those recovering from substance abuse. Responsibilities Of a Support Worker Provide high-quality care and support to our students. Assist with daily activities and routines. Foster a safe and nurturing environment Work collaboratively with other staff members. Requirements Of a Support Worker Passion for working with young people. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential. An updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one). A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
