Job role:
Are you driven by improving business processes and contributing to innovative developments? We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst with excellent data skills. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analysing and understanding our processes and data to provide valuable insights and opportunities for improvement. You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor outputs to match the audience, from SMEs to software developers.
Using your BA techniques, data analysis skills, problem solving, genuine inquisitiveness and drive, you will be key to the delivery of critical projects and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work with SMEs and other stakeholders to devise effective and efficient approaches to achieving evidence based workstream objectives
* Analyse business data to identify insights that inform decision making, identify areas for improvement, and help to evidence requirements
* Analyse and map business processes (current state/transition state/future state)
* Use BA techniques to identify gaps, issues and to create suggestions for improvements
* From your analysis and user engagement, elicit and present validated requirements that will align with strategic and project objectives
* Prepare or provide input to use cases, test plans and cut over/transition planning
* Produce and maintain high quality documentation such as business requirements, processes, project updates and functional specifications
* Use your knowledge of analysis best practice to benefit the wider team suggesting improvements to ways of working and conducting well considered peer reviews of analysis deliverables
* Work with the rest of the organisation to identify pain points and opportunities to improve efficiency and service

Requirements:
* Strong previous Business Analyst experience
* Experienced at analysing business processes and using data to drive insights and to support conclusions
* Exceptional communicator at all levels across the business
* Evidenced understanding of enterprise-wide platforms, with experience of mapping and understanding integration and inter-operability requirements
* Highly inquisitive, tenacious and able to question, collaborate, shape, and confirm ideas and solve problems creatively
* Ability to clearly articulate and communicate requirements, ideas or concepts, appropriate to the audience
* Excellent attention to detail
* Demonstrable experience of building key stakeholder relationships across an organisation
* Excellent time-management skills to self-manage and successfully meet agreed timescales
* Significant level of personal accountability and to be able to work on your own initiative
* Healthcare or IT sector experience is desirable
* Experience working within the software development lifecycle is desirable
