● The purpose of the role will be to provide full executive assistant support to the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, the Director of Communications, and the Director of Public Affairs and National Lottery Relations (the “Senior CA Team”).
● The PA will report to the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer.
● This role is responsible for the efficient daily operation of the Senior Corporate Affairs (CA) Team, working in a fast-paced and challenging environment, acting as the 'go to' for the department.
● Diary management, making sure the Senior CA Team each knows where they need to be and when.
● As requested, managing the Senior CA Team’s individual inbox, flagging any important emails and helping direct any queries.
● Providing a friendly and professional main point of contact on behalf of each of the Senior CA Team, guided by each of the Senior CA Team’s priorities to review incoming internal and external business ensuring that each of the Senior CA Team deals with the most relevant issues.
● Own and manage the processing of multiple departmental-oriented processes.
● Maintain an awareness of the key issues and activities taking place within both the Company and Department, to enable an understanding to be had of key interfaces which impact on the Senior CA Team.
● Making judgements on what action is appropriate, liaising with others as needed, organising meetings and managing the diary to maximise the Senior CA Team’s time and make effective use of travel/transport arrangements.
● Organising papers and reports to ensure each of the Senior CA Team is in possession of all relevant information when attending Company and Business meetings and events.
● Production and preparation of letters, reports, presentations and other documentation and managing sensitive information and highly confidential documents with discretion.
● Managing each of the Senior CA Team’s individual expenses claims.
● Resolve any administration issues or queries and undertake other ad-hoc support tasks as requested.
● Manage and co-ordinate the Senior Team meeting / department meetings for internal and external guests.
● Works closely with the team, supporting the smooth running of the team and a positive team culture.
● Help keep the wider team engaged, organising team days and departmental events when requested by the Senior CA Team.
● Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

● Ability to use Microsoft packages including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
● Ability to use Microsoft Outlook/Teams docs as a tool to prioritise tasks, arrange meetings and manage others’ schedules.
● Knowledge in practice of relevant company and department procedures.
