Job Summary: At Managed-AIS, our Graduate Software Developer role is a pivotal position that serves as an integration point into our seasoned development team. Over the course of your first year, you'll immerse yourself in a rotational learning experiencespending 3 or 4 months with each of our specialized teams. This setup ensures you gain deep insights into our suite of products, all while being mentored by our experienced developers. The goal is for you to transition into a valuable member of our development team within 12 months. In your capacity as a junior developer, collaboration is key. You'll work closely with various project team members, occasionally being part of a project sub-team. As our projects sometimes require a hands-on approach beyond our main office, be prepared for the possibility of domestic overnight stays or even international travel. Key Responsibilities: 1. Collaborate with our dynamic team to design and implement cutting-edge software solutions. 2. Write code under the guidance and direction of a senior developer. 3. Set up and maintain a development environment, learning its intricacies as you progress. 4. Strive to understand and achieve coding best practices, continuously refining your skills. 5. Engage in all phases of software development from ideation to deployment. 6. Familiarize yourself with and learn to utilize the companys extensive product range effectively. 7. Adhere to and learn the companys procedures for software development, ensuring alignment with our quality standards. 8. Participate in code reviews, ensuring the highest quality of technical output. 9. Adapt to new technologies and tools that drive the evolution of our products. As your experience and proficiency grow, transition from graduate responsibilities to those of a full-fledged software developer. What We're Looking For: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Mathematics at Higher or A-Level. Evidence of Coding skills. Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or C++. Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
