Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Sales Manager overseeing a newly formedteam of 7 Business Development professionals who provide qualified sales leadsinto our own internal desk based direct selling team and external field salesteam.
As a Team Manager, you will be pivotal in driving thesuccess of the Alphabet service offerings, managing a dedicated team, andensuring our clients receive exceptional service.
• Coach/develop a team of volume sales/new businessdevelopment professionals by setting sales objectives, providing feedback, andfacilitating professional growth.
• Managing people processes and team resource in line withcompany policies and procedures - delivering operational and quality targets toKPI's.
• Managing change and ensuring adherence to process,compliance and information security standards
• Ensuring the team consistently hit/deliver successfulresults, on time, against all SLA's and quality standards.
• Maintaining individual team members KPI’s at the optimallevels.
• Keeping morale of the team high and spotting/correctinginstances as appropriate
• Driving productivity and ensuring the team meet/exceedrequired levels of discipline through high levels of employee satisfaction.
• Implement strategies to optimise team performance andmeet client service delivery targets.
• Sets high standards and expectations of team with regardsto quality, process adherence and activity rate. Maintaining team focus onpriorities at all times.
• Track and measures performance, making visible to teamdaily and identifying ways to fix and prevent underperformance.
• Maintain and enhance relationships with key clients,ensuring their needs are met with tailored solutions.
• Guiding the team to provide a top-tier service toAlphabet and their customers, leading to customer satisfaction and customerloyalty
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure aseamless integration of services and continuous improvement.
• Building trust with direct reports, peers, clients,customers and managers.
• Working effectively across departments and businessunits.
• Sharing relevant information from client andorganisational leaders to team
• Keeping stakeholders informed of opportunities, risk,issues or status updates
• Monitor team performance through analysis and reporting,making data-driven decisions to drive success
• Being the expert in all key project systems andprocesses.
• Interpreting data to identify trends and make decisions.
• Driving innovative solutions through adopting newstrategies and solutions to improve service offerings and client satisfaction.
Skills and Experience
• Evidence of delivering targets through others, developingsales teams both individually and collectively.
• Proven leadership experience within the automotive,fleet, or leasing sectors, with a track record of managing successful teams.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability toprioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive approach toproblem-solving and innovation.
• Proficient with CRM platforms and data-driven performancemanagement tools and technologies that enhance and drive team efficiency andservice delivery (ie.Salesforce)
• Client-focused mindset with the ability to build strongrelationships and provide exceptional client service.
• Strong communication both verbal and written skills toeffectively collaborate with clients and team members
