Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Therapist for a part-time role to join the BRAVE (Building Resilience and Validating Emotions) Project.
In this position, you will provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to therapeutic staff while also supporting colleagues in their professional development. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing a caseload and delivering high-quality therapeutic services to individuals in need.
The service will include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Creative Therapy support, using both one-to-one and group therapy interventions for each therapeutic approach.
Mind Children and Young Person's (CYP) Therapists are line-managed by the Project Coordinator. They will be based in Medway for in-person delivery of sessions and must be flexible to travel across Medway to pre-approved venues (including schools where appropriate). Mind CYP Therapists work between the hours of 8:30 and 16:30 with some flexibility to offer later evening appointments and possible weekend sessions on a case-by-case basis, on a part-time contract as agreed with the CYP Manager/Deputy Manager.
We are offering this role on a 12-month fixed-term contract initially with a view to extending the contract subject to continued funding.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while contributing to the success of the project and the growth of the team.
