Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Admissions Assistants for our 2025 season. Admissions roles include Ticket sales and Guiding. Both roles involve welcoming visitors and providing information regarding the history of Scone Palace and grounds.
These roles are ideal for individuals who are passionate about history and enjoy engaging with visitors from around the world.
As either a Tickets Assistant or Guide, you will play a vital role in providing information and support to our visitors, ensuring every visit is extra special to exceed our visitors’ expectations.
Duties
* Delivering excellent customer service and a warm welcome to visitors
* Presenting information on the history of the Palace to visitors
* Assisting with fire evacuations
* Efficiently processing pre-purchased tickets and on-the-day ticket sales
* Guide Book sales and sales of additional products
Qualifications
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences
* Multilingual skills are advantageous
* Previous experience in customer service settings is essential
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated
* Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications relevant to ticketing is helpful
* A commitment to delivering the highest standards of service
* Maintain a high standard of punctuality and professionalism
