About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established optical company in Manchester who are looking to add anOptical Assistantto their field-based team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for optical care and customer service. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing support to customers, assisting with eye care solutions, and ensuring a smooth experience with the companys products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality optical assistance in the field, visiting clients in their homes or workplaces.
Assist customers with product inquiries, troubleshooting, and concerns regarding their eyewear, lenses, or prescriptions.
Provide hands-on support with fitting and adjusting spectacles, contact lenses, and other optical products.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow up where necessary to ensure satisfaction.
Collaborate with the internal team to ensure customer issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner.
Represent the companys values, offering knowledgeable, friendly, and reliable support at all times.
The Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience is essential and a minimum of 1 year in Practice
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain optical products and solutions clearly and effectively.
A full UK driving licence is essential, as this role involves traveling to customer sites.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with a friendly, empathetic, and professional approach.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage your own schedule and workload efficiently.
A passion for helping customers with their optical needs and providing exceptional service.
