Spencer Clarke Group is seeking for an experienced Year 6 Teacher who is passionate about education to work within a brilliant primary school in the Ormskirk area in September 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, preparing students for KS2 SATS, and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons that meet the needs of all students.
2. Effectively manage classroom behaviour to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
3. Prepare students for KS2 SATS exams, providing support and guidance as needed.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum initiatives.
5. Communicate regularly with parents and carers to provide updates on student progress.
Requirements:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience.
7. Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 (KS2) curriculum.
8. Strong behaviour management skills.
9. Previous experience preparing students for KS2 SATS exams is desirable.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
