Women’s Counselling and Therapy Service (WCTS) is an award-winning organisation providing long term (up to two years) face to face individual and group therapy to disadvantaged women who wouldn’t otherwise be able to access therapy. Are you a dedicated therapist who wants to make a difference to the lives of marginalised women? If so, we are looking for you to join our warm and supportive team of counsellors and psychotherapists.
Salary £29,921.71- £42,117.21 (pro rata) depending on skills and experience plus 5% employer pension contribution.
Starting salary is negotiable within the range.
We offer regular external supervision, reflective practice, training and opportunities for professional development.
Working hours 21 hours per week. Ideally Wednesday – Friday. Based at Park Square Leeds LS1
Applications are invited from female counsellors or psychotherapists with full BACP Accreditation / UKCP Registration (or equivalent) OR those eligible for Accreditation with at least 500 post qualifying hours.
We are particularly interested in applicants who have experience of working with the consequences of sexual violence and abuse, and/or working with 16 and 17-year olds, and/or group therapy / psycho educational courses/groups.
