The post holder will work as part of an out of hours operational team chauffeuring and supporting medical staff to undertake home visits in the effective and efficient delivery of a high quality out of hours service to NHS Berkshire West. The post will include supporting medical staff to undertake some clinical tasks. Main duties of the job Drive medical staff to home visits in a safe and timely manner Maintain effective communication with dispatching staff Ensure all medical bags and equipment are stowed at the beginning of each duty session and assist medical staff with locating bags and equipment Follow the service's operational procedures for checking vehicles before the beginning of each duty session including fuel, water, oil levels. Complete data entries.
