The Governing Body are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and professional School Support Officer to organise and supervise administrative systems within the school.Henllys is a highly successful Church in Wales School situated in Cwmbran and it currently has 170 children on roll. The school’s aim is to provide an outstanding education, rooted in the Christian faith and values, where all learners are able to reach their full potential. We are looking for a School Support Officer who will continue to support and nurture these aims and values.Our School Support Officer will also need to:Contribute to the planning, development and monitoring of support services, including coordination and delegation of relevant activities.Take a lead role in planning, development, design, organisation and monitoring of support systems, procedures and policies.Line management responsibilities, where appropriateLiaise between managers/teaching staff and support staff.Hold regular team meetings with relevant colleagues.Undertake recruitment/induction/training/mentoring for other staff.
