Education required:
To be eligible for this placement you must have graduated from a UK university in the last 2 years, and be educated to degree level in Business, Graphic Design/Art or similar.
Sandoz has an exciting opportunity for a Graduate in Graphic Design/Art related degrees to come join the team.
The core function of the role is to manage creation of packaging component artworks (e.g. folding boxes, labels, information leaflets) in accordance with brand and regulatory guidelines, coordination of internal sign off for printing, and recording and tracking of implementation status.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to get involved and gain exposure to many different areas within Sandoz. Some of the duties are listed below:
* Working with the Regulatory Affairs team to ensure requests for packaging
* artworks are progressed effectively to meet deadlines.
* Ensuring all packaging artwork is created and processed in accordance with
* regulatory guidelines and Sandoz operating procedures.
* Co-ordination of packaging changes with internal and external printers.
* Management and prioritisation of packaging component sign off to ensure timely implementation in line with regulatory requirements.
* Maintenance of SAP and artwork systems/databases to ensure complete and
* accurate artwork records, including packaging component codes and associated implementation requirements.
* Ensuring that appropriate internal and external stakeholders are kept effectively informed of upcoming packaging changes, and in collaboration with Supply Chain, ensuring minimal costs are incurred due to the destruction of existing printed packaging components.
* Provision of support for departmental and cross-functional projects
Key Performance Indicators:
* 100% of packaging artworks for marketed products implemented within the required timelines
* No product recalls due to packaging artwork errors.
* Accurate maintenance of SAP and artwork systems/databases to ensure complete and correct artwork records.
* No delays in product launches due to packaging artwork errors.
We are looking for an individual who can meet the following criteria:
Essential:
* Considerable attention to detail
* Ability to effectively plan and organise work according to projects with
* appropriate execution dates
* Multi-tasker with ability to prioritise effectively
* Proficient in Excel and email management
* Science degree/design degree
Desirable:
Knowledge of below programmes:
* Illustrator, InDesign, Quark, Photoshop and Filemaker
* A Levels, preferably in Business or Graphic Design/Art related
Personal attributes required
Fluency in English - verbal and written – is required.
You will be IT savvy and with a good working knowledge of Microsoft office packages (Outlook, Excel, PPT skills and Word at Advanced Level)

Please ensure that you are willing and able to live within commutable distance of the company site before applying. This placement is based in Bracknell and whilst we support hybrid working, we would expect the intern to be in the office at a minimum 3 days per week. You will need to be eligible to work in the UK.
