The Role at a Glance
We are looking for a detail-oriented, experienced Project Support Specialist, committed to continuous improvement supporting the RPS Operations Plan Level Services team in a work from home environment.
Background Details
As a Project Support Specialist, you will be focused on driving efficiencies and enhancing the customer experience. This requires strong problem solving and the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and continued growth. You will focus on 12b1 reporting, calculations, research, accruals and trending of results and be cross trained to support all aspects of large-scale projects to ensure timely, accurate processing and reporting. What you'll be doing
1. You will own the monthly Alliance 12b1 revenue calculation and accrual process.
2. You will compile and track results to the general ledger to ensure the accuracy of calculations.
3. You will work with Fund Management, Accounts Receivable and other key stakeholders on ensuring fund revenue is received and reconciled for inclusion in revenue models and the general ledger.
4. You will communicate and engage with external fund companies on variances, rate changes and other nuances associated with fund fee matters.
5. You will provide support and backup to the Fund Revenue Analyst and Specialist along with the Plan Expense Funding and Alliance Employer Invoicing processes.
6. You will update associated databases with required information to reconcile and apportion fund revenue & fees to clients.
7. You will analyze and support general financial control processes and ongoing improvement efforts.
8. You will analyze and communicate to internal stakeholders on mutual fund fee revenue that impacts your assigned area of responsibility including but not limited to related calculation and collection.
9. You will be responsible for all aspects of large-scale projects to ensure timely, accurate processing and reporting.
10. You will facilitate project meetings with stakeholders from multiple groups to map current and future state processes, define project scope, determine project plans, execute agreed deliverables, and evaluate outcomes.
11. You will partner closely with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to align project timelines ensuring that deadlines are met.
12. You will provide support for internal business partners related to customer inquiries, service capabilities, and expertise on issue resolution.
13. You will proactively identify, recommend and champion service and process improvements, researching and implementing these improvements to provide a better customer experience.
What we’re looking for
Must-haves:
1. 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience or 4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's.
2. 1 - 3+ Years of experience in the insurance industry that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position.
3. Ability to work with others in a fast-paced, team environment.
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
5. Strong project management leadership skills including the critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines.
6. Ability to identify and recommend process improvements.

The pay range for this position is $53,500 - $96,300 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law.
