The Role: As an Analysis & Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of advanced propulsion systems. Your primary focus will be structural and thermal analysis using ANSYS, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. While the role is analysis-driven, you will also provide occasional support on design work using CATIA, helping to refine and develop mechanical components. This is a hybrid role, requiring 1-2 days in the Buckinghamshire office per week. If you prefer to be in the office more frequently, you are welcome to do so. Key Responsibilities: Conduct FEA simulations (structural and thermal) using ANSYS to optimize component performance. Analyze stress, fatigue, and thermal properties to ensure structural integrity. Support the design team with CATIA-based mechanical design tasks as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate analysis findings into product development. Assist in developing and validating test plans to correlate simulations with real-world performance. Provide technical documentation and reports based on analysis findings. Requirements: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. Strong experience with FEA analysis using ANSYS. Some exposure to CATIA for design work. Understanding of materials, stress analysis, and thermal dynamics. Ability to interpret and present analysis results clearly.
