Job Description: Team Leader

£12.50 per hour

We are currently looking for a Team Leader to join our team in Amesbury.

Team Leader Role and Responsibilities:
1. Assist the senior management to assess the needs of the people we support, using a Person-Centred Framework and the Supporting People Initiative.
2. Facilitate and support the people we support to integrate within their local community.
3. Identify training needs of other staff and coordinate training initiatives in consultation with the Registered Manager.
4. Work with people we support to initiate and develop new ideas and methods regarding the quality of service delivery in conjunction with other colleagues.
5. Stay up-to-date with changes by participating in discussions, training sessions, and workshops when required.
6. Maintain a full understanding of Care Standards.
7. Encourage and motivate staff morale by personal example and appearance.
8. Assist management with the coordination, supervision, and monitoring of staff work and practices.
9. Coordinate the arrangements of resident appointments.
10. Assist management in organizing regular (monthly) House meetings.
11. Administer medications when required, in line with prescription guidelines.
The Ideal candidate will have:
1. A Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
2. Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or challenging behaviours.
3. Experience mentoring others in a team.
4. A valid driver’s license.
