This role will support the monumental Sizewell C project, a 3.2-gigawatt power station that will generate low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes, playing a crucial part in our energy future with reliable, clean power for at least 60 years. Role Purpose: As a BIM Technician, you'll be at the heart of our design process, ensuring the integrity and quality of our 3D models and data. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing model data and reports for design management Extracting data from 3D models for presentations Conducting validation checks on design models to ensure they meet required standards and formats Setting up and sharing model views and fly-throughs Creating detailed images from 3D models with measurements and labels Calculating and presenting quantities derived from 3D models Liaising with designers to ensure accurate provision of model data Supporting the Design Integrity team with BIM data management Adhering to project CAD and BIM standards within a common data environment So why not you?
