The Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Residents Liaison Officer to become an integral part of our site team in Sunderland. This role will involve interacting with building residents, providing essential information, addressing feedback, and ensuring smooth communication between the site team and the residents. You will be directly reporting to the Contracts Manager and will be based in both the office and site locations. While core activities will be during normal working hours, occasional out-of-hours communication may be required. This is a key role to ensure the successful completion of projects and resident satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Regularly update residents with the rollout programmes, scope of works, and schedules.
* Serve as the first point of contact for residents, addressing queries, feedback, and complaints.
* Coordinate and organise events such as residents’ coffee mornings and meetings to maintain open communication.
* Log all interactions, feedback, and complaints within a recognised system, ensuring proper resolution and documentation.
* Prepare monthly reports on resident interactions for inclusion in overall project progress reports.
* Assist the Site Project Manager in fostering effective communication between residents and the project team.
* Monitor and resolve any complaints, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Who We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in customer care or a customer-facing role.
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage priorities.
* High professional standards and a positive, solution-oriented approach.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and CRM systems.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams.
* A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to dealing with resident concerns.
