About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and organised Exams Officer and Awarding Organisation Coordinator to manage and coordinate all exam-related activities. This role will involve overseeing qualifications and certifications across various awarding bodies, arranging End-Point Assessments (EPA), leading External Quality Assurance (EQA) visits, and managing learner data. You will play a key role in ensuring that exam processes run smoothly and qualifications are registered, approved, and certified accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
* Qualification Registrations & Approvals: Manage new qualification and site approval requests for multiple awarding organisations.
* Claims Processing: Monitor and submit claims for a range of qualifications, ensuring timely EQA visits.
* End-Point Assessments (EPA): Organise EPA bookings and upload mandatory documents and certificates on relevant platforms.
* External Quality Assurance (EQA) Visits: Coordinate EQA visits, liaising with centres, quality teams, tutors, and IQAs.
* Exam Coordination: Oversee exam activities, including functional skills, vocational qualifications, and others. Ensure exams are conducted according to regulations.
* Data Management: Maintain accurate learner records using PICS software and coordinate with systems like OneFile.
* Complaints Handling: Act as the complaints officer, resolving issues in line with company policies.
* Surveys & Feedback: Collect and manage learner feedback to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven experience in exam coordination or working with awarding bodies.
* Familiarity with PICS or similar learner management systems is advantageous.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
