Description Great opportunity to join our Risk Consulting business as a Team Leader within WTW Health & Benefits (H&B) GB. We are looking for an individual to play a key role in engaging, developing, and retaining our H&B colleagues. They will be uniquely positioned to create an environment for their colleague(s) to thrive and reach their full potential, creating a positive colleague experience to help WTW distinguishing our company as an employer of choice for talent. Additionally, they will also be responsible for managing their own portfolio of clients, advising on all aspects of managing the health of their clients’ workforce, plus advising on and implementing risk and other health related insurances, which are a key aspect of this role. The consultant should be able to deal with all aspects of group insurance from market broking exercises to ongoing day-to-day administration and consulting of client arrangements. They will need to assist clients with ensuring their benefit provision meets their employee needs, whilst also ensuring their benefits remain compliant and fit for purpose. The consultant will need to be a subject matter expert in all group protection products, including registered and excepted group life assurance, death-in-service pensions, group income protection, critical illness, spouse/partner life assurance coverages and policies placed via the Lloyd's market. In addition, experience in the private medical insurance and healthcare sector (dental, cash plan, optical, health screens, travel, PA and perks) is advantageous but not essential. This role is hybrid, based out of our London office working 2 days a week in the office. Qualifications The Requirements: Extensive consulting experience in group risk policies and providers (ideally supported by GR1), with experience in healthcare (potentially supported by the IF7 qualification) being seen as advantageous. Comprehensive and up-to-date technical knowledge and practical experience in the areas of Employee Benefits. Strong communication and organisation skills to help manage the team effectively and balance your own client responsibilities. Experience and sustained success in people management. Support and lead a culture of inclusivity within the team and colleagues, embedding Inclusion & Diversity considerations into daily activities. Attend and participate in regular manager community calls. Invest time with relevant WTW manager training to develop skills and experience required to deliver at this level. Good standard of written and oral communication. The ability to work with minimum supervision and within cross-disciplinary teams. Computer literacy of Microsoft Office software, in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Able to learn quickly, use own initiative and organise own workload effectively. Able to work quickly, but accurately in a professional environment. An understanding and appreciation of broader employee health issues would be an advantage, as would experience of international coverage, wellbeing and technology platforms, all of which are key aspects to future progression.
