Job Title: Fleet Engineer - Avionic Systems (12 month FTC)
Location: Hangar 89, Luton
Job Description:
We are seeking a Fleet Engineer to join our team, reporting to the Engineering Manager and Team Leader for Avionics & Technical Publications. In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure full integration with our company’s operating policies, maintaining easyJet’s Continuous Airworthiness obligations as per EASA Part ‘M’/Part CAMO.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage software configurations and improve aircraft availability.
2. Ensure system reliability and safety.
3. Provide troubleshooting assistance for Aircraft-on-Ground (AOG) and Out-of-Service (OOS) events.
4. Develop procedures to support reliability.
5. Assess and implement Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and other technical documentation.
6. Coordinate FDR and CVR data analysis and produce Engineering Orders.
7. Interface with various departments to ensure regulatory compliance.
8. Conduct defect analysis and address audit reports.
9. Collaborate with manufacturers to enhance aircraft availability and reliability.
10. Represent easyJet at industry meetings and support avionic projects.
11. Manage IPRAM Card recordings for Cabin Ops.
Requirements:
1. A recognised degree in Aircraft Engineering or an EASA aircraft maintenance engineer’s license.
2. Knowledge and experience in EASA Part M/Part CAMO functions.
3. Competence in reliability control and Maintenance Programme development.
4. Experience with Avionic maintenance systems and Airbus ‘Single Aisle’ aircraft systems is highly desirable.
5. Familiarity with aircraft ‘Maintenance Control Systems’ (AMOS).
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
7. A passion for Continuous Improvement, flexibility, and adaptability to change.
