Route 1 Recruitment are currently working with a family-owned manufacturing client in the Brighouse area. Due to internal retirement, our client is now looking for a part-time Book Keeper (hours will increase as the business grows or a job share will be implemented).
We are looking for a strong, experienced candidate with a consistent background in bookkeeping to join a friendly and settled environment.
Your key responsibilities will include, however will not be limited to:
1. Inputting on Sage.
2. Accounts payable/receivable.
3. Bank and supplier statement reconciliation.
4. VAT and HMRC submissions.
5. Wages and expenses.
6. Credit control.
Requirements of the Role:
1. Minimum of 3 years bookkeeping and administration experience.
2. Solid understanding of VAT regulations and related documents.
3. Knowledge of financial regulations and legislations.
4. IT literate.
This vacancy is part-time and offers 20 hours, however will have the potential to become full-time within the next 12 months. Hours of work will be flexible and discussed upon interview.
