The post holder will carry out statutory testing and Planned Preventative Maintenance and repairs on complex Mechanical services and equipment and complete relevant statutory records. This will require a complete understanding of complex engineering systems, plant, and equipment in NHS building, such as but not limited to: - HVAC Systems Chilled Water Systems Building Management Systems Fire Alarm Systems Ultra-Portable Systems (POD) Standby Generation Units and Controls Plate Heat Exchangers Industrial Catering Equipment Multifaceted Equipment Lift Equipment Steam Raising Plant (Boilers) Sluices (drainage) Control Panels (live working) Metal fabrication Welding Swimming pool maintenance Roofing repairs Underground/above ground drainage systems Compressed air systems The post holder must be willing to undertake training and/or be familiar with the following regulations and codes of practice such as: - Asbestos Regulations and Asbestos Non-Licensable Work Legionella Awareness Working at Height Training Including PASMA & IPAF & Scaffolding Medical gases (CP) Training Safe Release from Lift Training First Aid Course Steam Boiler Operative (BOAS) Course Swimming pool maintenance
